Julia, Pontus and Duffy. The names of 3 dogs that have changed my life and without them this site wouldn’t exist. I have owned other dogs but these 3 are the ones that are very special for me.
First of all, they are Rottweilers and I am a Rottweiler lover. Second, I have trained and educated these dogs to Army or Military dogs. That is a very comprehensive training that lasts for at least a year to get the first degree and after that you have to keep training as long as you and your dog stay in duty.
Naturally I cant discuss all the details of how to train these kind of dogs. What I can and will discuss is the part how our dogs use their nose to find people and things that humans have been in touch with.
This is fun and I haven’t met any dog that don’t love it in some form. I would says that dog tracking is one of the best ways to activate our dogs. They get both physical and mental training.
This is an update….
As you might have found now the site is not that much about dog tracking. The reason is the fact that I haven’t had time to present the information that I had planned. Several years ago I started to collect information about dog tracking and my idea was/is to present it in some form on the Internet.
Now my working situation has made it impossible to continue with that idea…at least for now. Instead I decided to present more general dog products and articles and videos about training.
