Dog Training – Proofing the ‘Tunnel’ command
www.sitmeanssit.com In this daily dog training video, we are showing how to ‘proof’ a tunnel command. We are assuming that the dog already knows how to go through a tunnel, and can do it at a decent degree of efficiency. This is just another imaginative way for the dog to stay focused on the behavior task at hand. Tunnels can be used as part of agility dog training, or other types of obedience used by trainers. Also to be noted in this video is the fact that because of the distance involved, the dog would be capable of seeing the toy before he got to the tunnel and would further his chances of just avoiding the tunnel and going right to the toy. The dog is released with a ‘tunnel’ command so that he knows to go through the tunnel, or whatever similar command that may be used by the handler.

Dog Training – Great first lesson for 2 small dogs
www.sitmeanssit.com In this daily dog training video, we see a great transition in both the owner, and the 2 little dogs that she owns and loves that is going to make her life much easier. She learned how to confidently handle the Sit Means Sit remote dog training collar pretty well for her first lesson, and should have her dogs off leash around distraction in no time! She also saw very clearly that she could give the dogs all the commands she wanted previously, but until we have the dogs attention, most words are pretty meaningless. Didn’t matter though, as we were able to fix alot of that pretty much on the first lesson. 2 small dogs on first lesson, and 1 happy owner!

Treasure hunt to prevent dog behavior problems – clicker dog training in San Diego
www.pamsdogacademy.com This was on my other computer before I got my new imac with imovie. So, I thought I would post it anyway. I also had it posted and for some reason the audio stopped playing. So, I uploaded it again. Sorry, if you have already watched it. This is a fun game to play with your dog that can prevent many behavior problems, give your dog mental stimulation, exercise, and it is fun for everyone in the family. Dogs love to find things! Not to mention it is a natural behavior to want to search and find fun things. I taught my dogs this game using clicker training and by slowly increasing the distance at which the item is placed until it is in another room, then in harder and more difficult places to encourage the dog to really have to search for it. One my dogs really understand the game, I hide multiple things for them to find. It really teaches the dog to use their senses. This game is a fun activity, but could also be useful if training a search and rescue dog. Have a great time with your dog! Dogs are always learning, so hopefully they are learning good acceptable behaviors instead of developing unacceptable ones. Take care! Pam, Isabelle, & Bandit
